Apple Announces iPhone 17e with A19 Chip, MagSafe, and Upgraded Camera System
Apple has officially announced the iPhone 17e today, introducing several notable enhancements and improvements over its predecessor.
What’s New?
The iPhone 17e now starts at 256GB for the base model and features the A19 chip, first introduced in the iPhone 17 lineup. The A19 includes a 6-core CPU, 4-core GPU, and advanced Neural Accelerators for improved performance and efficiency.
The device also includes a 48MP Fusion camera system with a 48MP Fusion main camera, offering next-generation portrait photography with enhanced Focus and Depth Control.
Apple has upgraded the front glass to Ceramic Shield 2, which the company says delivers up to three times better scratch resistance compared to previous generations.
MagSafe has also been added to the iPhone 17e, expanding accessory compatibility.
Color options remain black and white, with the addition of a new “Soft Pink” finish.
